Judge Issues Remedies in Apple E-Book Case, Does Not Change In-App Purchasing Rules

Judge Denise Cote has issued her remedies to address Apple's e-book price fixing in a final order last night.

The order prohibits Apple from making the kind of deals that resulted in publishers joining together to force Amazon to change its e-book business model; however, it does not change how Apple's in-app purchasing works.
